The project "borderlines: immigrants environment" is a collaborative art research about the use as the digital technologies as a tool to produce social networks an create an art documentation about social statments.

How does our new media environment help to develop the production of social art? And how is the connection between the artists as a mediator of these social relations?

The work was made with four immigrants during the months of september 07 to july 08. The research was produced investigation the concepts of 'environment', 'belonging', 'language' and 'identity' generating art documents about representations of these 4 different nationalities in the city of London.

> Adriano Casanova (Brazil, artist and curator): investigating language.----------------------------> Lana Lasagna (South Africa, performer): investigating identity. ---------------------------- > Francesco Beneamato (Italy)(painter): investigating environment. ----------------- - - - > Aline Von Der Assen (artist)(German): investigating belonging.

During the process critical reviews and exhibitions was produced to contextualize the works' concepts. The idea is to suggest that the artwork produced is located in the space between the collaborations as documentations of this process.
